How To Have The Perfect Basketball Ball Rotation

Many basketball players wonder if they have a good basketball ball rotation on their shot. Everyone thinks that you need a basket to get shooting reps up. I’m a big fan of isolating your shooting form. This means eliminating a basket or a game situation with the intent to really solely focus your mind on your mechanics. Using this method you can get THOUSANDS of shooting form reps up in a short period of time without worrying about rebounding, passing, etc.
DON’T GET ME WRONG, the BEST way to improve shooting is to actually shoot shots, but we aren’t always in a position to do so. Here is a great alternative in the morning when you wake up or at night before bed.

For my younger players: Simply reaching the basket isn’t enough. If you can’t reach the basket from a desirable angle then you just shouldn’t be shooting from that far. Machines like @drdishbball come with nets that not only help capture the ball but more importantly force you to shoot with the necessary arc to make more shots!
